ESE Electronic Servicing Environment. Collaborative, Secure, and Transparent

To Our Valued Clients

August 12, 2010
I want to thank you for your continued support of the AQD Electronic Servicing Environment System (ESE) as we progressed through the initial development and implementation phases of the project. We will be transitioning to the Department of the Interior’s enterprise-wide Financial Business Management System (FBMS) over the next 15 months. As we proceeded with the early stages of the implementation of FBMS, we realized that it is in the best interest of all to perform a full analysis and comparison of FBMS and ESE functionality. Once that is complete, we will be able to determine the best systems approach to better serve our clients.

Because of this decision, we are discontinuing the use of ESE. As a result, new requests will no longer be accepted after 8/13/2010. The ESE application will no longer be accessible after 8/18/2010. We will back-up and store all documents currently held in the ESE application if you should have a need to access any of the documents or information contained in the current ESE system. Finally, our ESE help desk at 703-964-8700 is also available to answer other questions you may have or you may also call Shanda Georg at 703-964-4855 to discuss.

This decision in no way diminishes the value or high level of importance I believe ESE or a similar application will have to improve our ability in the future to provide the highest quality of service to you, our customers. I truly appreciate your continued use of our acquisition services and collaboration with us in our commitment to improve how we deliver our services to you.
