DoD updates Financial Management Regulation for Non-Economy Act Orders

the delivery of goods for Non-Economy Act Orders.
DoD Redirects Contracting Support Work

The Acquisition Services Directorate, under a pilot program, will support DoD contracting operations. Shay Assad speaks to Federal Times regarding this pilot program. The Army Contracting Center for Excellence at the Pentagon and the Pentagon’s Washington Headquarters Service will redirect its “inherently governmental” procurement support from contractors to procurement staffs at GSA and Interior until they hire more staff to take over that work, Assad said.
